Neighborhood Yoga was created to provide a sense of community for people of all ages and body types. I always say, "If you wait for your body to be in perfect condition before taking a yoga class, you'll never take one!" I welcome students who are challenged by an injury or physical condition.

Download Zoom software onto your computer, laptop, ipad, or even your phone. It is a free service offered by Zoom and very easy to install.
Class time is 6:30 to 7:30 pm. This is a gentle class designed to relax and center you after your day.
You can enter into the class as early as 6:15 to make sure you connect properly. Make sure you enable audio and video if zoom asks you to do that in a prompt.
Class time is 9:00 to 9:30 am. Pressed for time? Breathe, stretch, and get focused for what lies ahead in your day! This class is perfect for both beginners and advanced participants.

CHAIR YOGA is ideal for those who do not want to, or are unable to, get down to the floor on a traditional yoga mat. Using the chair for support, the postures will be presented in a slow, clear and manageable way in order for the student to comfortably and confidently connect with the mind and body. As you practice traditional yoga poses adapted to a chair, you can focus more closely on breathing, mindfulness, flexibility and balance. During this one hour class, basic Qigong techniques are incorporated. Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese exercise and healing technique that involves meditation, controlled breathing and movement exercises

Yoga in the Gardens will be held every Wednesday evening beginning May 12. 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Bring your own mat and blanket and spread out in the beautiful space surrounded by gardens and nature. This is a gentle yoga class, with occasional use of chairs (which will be provided) for chair yoga classes. $10 drop in rate or subscribe for the month using the Buy Now button above. You may also use your punch card.
