Tuesday Morning Short and Sweet:

Class time is 9:00 to 9:30 am.

 Pressed for time?  Breathe, stretch, and  get focused for what  lies ahead in your day! This class is perfect for both beginners and advanced participants.  Everything is done either sitting or standing; so if you cannot get down on the floor, this class is perfect for you! We also use hand weights during this class.

 Class time is 6:30 to 7:30 pm.

This is a gentle class designed to relax and center you after your day. Wednesday nights are all about using props to enhance your practice. We alternate between blocks, belts, rolled up blankets, chair and even super light weights. Each Wednesday we focus on using a different prop during this gentle class.  You can enter into the class as early as 6:15 to make sure you connect properly. Make sure you enable audio and video if Zoom asks you to do that in a prompt.

Friday Morning Qi-gong 9:00 to 10:00 am

I have found that yoga and Qi-gong blend beautifully together! If you are someone who isn't able to get down on the floor easily and want to practice a slow and mindful way of moving, then this practice might be for you! 

  During this one hour session, basic Qigong movements are incorporated and blended into gentle yoga movements.   Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese exercise and healing technique that involves meditation, controlled breathing and movement exercises. There is a emphasis on the seasons of the year and how our bodies need to adapt and move to obtain optimum benefits.  You will discover how  our energy and the energy of everything that surrounds us is interconnected. This practice can be done sitting or standing and no prior experience is needed to participate.

Allentown JCC Chair Yoga, Qi-gong, and aQUA YOGA

I am honored to be able to teach for the Allentown JCC. 

WEDNESDAY MORNING QIGONG

Wednesday mornings from 9:00 am to 9:45 am.  This is a combination of gentle chair yoga and Qi-gong basic flowing movements. Classes are live at the Jewish Community Center located at 702 N. 22nd St., Allentown, PA. If you are a Silver Sneakers card holder, you can drop into this class without being a member of the JCC!


FRIDAY AQUA-YOGA

Friday mornings from 11:00 to 11:45 am. If you enjoy the theraputic effects of exercising in a heated pool, then this yoga/qi-gong class is for you! Enjoy the beautiful indoor pool at the JCC. The class is conducted in the shallow end of the pool and will focus on standing yoga poses combined with easy to follow Qi-gong movements. Working out in water is gentler on the body's joints and makes it easier to maintain your balance.

Yoga in the Gardens Begins June 5!

Come practice yoga with me.I practice in my beautiful gardens .   Bring your own mat and blanket and spread out in the beautiful space surrounded by gardens and nature. I practice gentle yoga, with occasional use of chairs (which will be provided).  Yoga in the Garden runs June through November. On these Wednesdays, Zoom classes are NOT in session (unless it rains).
