How it all started....
It started innocently enough. Make an apron. Wear it at cooking club. No harm in that.... right? Then one of the clubmates pointed out that, “Of course, you have to wear an apron to cook! It's what you do. You wouldn't go to a yoga class in street clothing. You'd wear yoga pants. So why would you cook without wearing an apron?” That's all it took to make the connection between how I approached the act of cooking and how the healing power of food nurtured every cell in my body.
The apron became a symbolic “touch point”. Much like Buddhists use their mala beads as a connection to the spirit within, the apron became my touch point. Clark Kent had his cape, Wonder Woman had her bustier, and I had my apron.... lots of them! Each time I put one on, it signaled something within me that it was time to stop everything else and focus on the art of nourishing myself and those I love.
In addition to aprons, my line has expanded into table runners, tote bags, purses, yoga bags, lavender eye pillows, catnip toys and doggie bandana's, and seasonal home decorations.
